I am a retired psychoanalytical psychotherapist but have painted all my life and have had a studio in London N22 for the past 20 years.

My oil paintings are abstract or semi-abstract , often of imagined landscapes,  no doubt influenced by the Scottish countryside with which I am familiar.  My screenprints and monoprints are abstract and my work combines vibrant colours and subtle tones. 

 I have had 9 solo exhibitions in London and have exhibited in numerous group exhibitions.  I have annual Open Studio weekends in November at my studio in N22 and my work can be seen on Instagram@pennyelder or www.eastfinchleyopen.org.uk/artists.
